Beautiful renovation of their second floor porch with retractable roof and retractable walls, So now no matter what the weather you can enjoy perfect views with all the tasty seafood options they've got. The fried clam chowder cakes breaded and panko are definitely worth trying and even better when you dip them in their super thick chowder. Also if you're in over the top Bloody Mary fan you can build your own no matter how large and insane it gets! And their Staples like seafood platter and lobster rolls are as as you can get! Great food and comfortable atmosphere (not too fancy). The waiter was extremely helpful with the allergies in our group, which was very much appreciated. I loved the branding on my fish sandwich bun! After the meal we went outside for ice cream (banana split) which was also great. The staff was all super nice both inside the restaurant and outside.

Beautiful space, delicious and fresh and large portion of foods. Everything came up 5 min after ordering. Fisherman platter was so good, not over fried. The chowder is one of the best I’ve ever had. There’s an ice cream shack as well. Georgina our server was attentive and friendly.

Came as a party of 4 around 7PM on Monday and we were seated within 50 minutes. Our server Andrada was very thoughtful and pleasant. She made sure to ask if we had any allergies before taking our order and recommended the order/timing of our dishes so that we had a pleasant evening.

Love this place so so much, our favorite lobster rolls and clam chowder. Their grilled shrimp is juicy and charred and delicious. The warm lobster roll is phenomenal, order them with my favorite onion rings for 3 more. Market price may 2025 for the half pound warm lobster roll was like 47 or so.

As a party of nine, we had about a forty-five minute wait to get into Skipper Restaurant on a Thursday evening in early June. It was definitely worth the wait. Both the service and the food were excellent. I had a delicious Summer salad with mixed greens, fresh strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts, and cheese. It was served with a very tasty lemon vinaigrette. My husband had clam chowder, baked scrod, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables which he said was very good. Everyone enjoyed the food.

They had a few different lobster roll options and all tasted great. But they were definitely a bit pricier than other local restaurants. The clam chowder was great as well. The Quahogs were just OK, but way too expensive for the size. I guess they need to pay that waterfront rent! Overall it was a great meal but pricey for lunch. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the more reasonably priced options.

Where to begin? Dinner on a Monday night - busy and efficient service. Ashley was attentive and helpful. We really appreciated the recommendations for the onion rings. The food was delicious- clam chowder bowl was a great starter to share for a family of four. The entrees were equally delicious, and portions were substantial. All around great food. Dining area is classy and welcoming, we were very comfortable. Cheers!
